We are a community run nonprofit charity preschool which was established in 1976. Kingsclere Preschool is a friendly setting based in the picturesque village of Kingsclere. We are currently a pack away preschool as we hire our hall from the Scouts. Our location provides a large enclosed outdoor space, access to a local park and short walks to local amenities such as the library and shops.

From 1976 to 2023, we operated at Busy Bees Pre-School, Kingsclere and we have now become Kingsclere Preschool.

Kingsclere Preschool is open Monday to Friday, during school term time only. The session times are 9.00-11:30am and 12:30-3:00pm with an optional Lunch Club from 11:30am-12:30pm. (children eligible for the 30-hour entitlement can attend from 8:30am.)

If your child is eligible for the Early Years Grant, they are entitled to either 15 or 30 hours per week. Fee paying 3-year-olds are charged at a rate of £6.50 per hour; this is subject to availability. 2-year-old children, who do not qualify for the 2-year offer, will be charged £6.75 per hour. In order to supplement our income, to manage ever increasing expenses, and to have parity with other early years provisions, we have introduced a ‘Consumable Charge’ for all children. This charge equals to £1.10 for each session your child attends and will be invoiced at the beginning of each term.
